Do you have imail in alone server? or with other programs
Do you use MS NT 4.0 or 2000 advanced? this is have SP 6.0 or SP1(2000).
I have experiencie with this. My imail 6.x after the last patch some
services was down, but in the control panel did apper how up.
Ok. If this is your...
1.- Shut down you server, in the act when reinicialice, go to the control
panel(windows system - not imail) and down temporaly the services.
2.- Install again the Imail server 6.x in the same place of your server
(crunch). Ok, dont crunch your templates. Shut down you pc.
3.- Install the patches one by one, in each process you should be shout down
each time.
4.- Test the system. I sugget to you dont install another DB for imail,
because isnt compatible with all. Rememeber after all this install the last
Service pack of your windows NT.
