Dave,

I just encountered this myself (not first time, but maybe the 3rd in about a
year) and using OE, I had to delete my user account and recreate it. Once OE
got all the messages again, it showed these problem messages and manipulated
them normally. I tried other methods of access to this mailbox (POP3 and Web
MSG) and they showed the messages. Makes me think it is an OE problem,
although I did not try another IMAP client on the mailbox. Maybe you can try
this and tell us what you see, then try my 'fix'. I sort of think (because
OE could read it when the account was recreated) that your IMAP access with
a different client, will show all OK.

My MS Outlook Imail is not always available. Sometimes its there and
