Troy,
To run IMail and use the NT DB, the computer must be either a PDC or BDC.

Subject: [IMail Forum] IMail server move.
Hello All,
I recently did a IMail server migration with 95% success. Here's the
scenario:
I've got about 35 domains on IMail 6.04. I followed the KB article, backing
up the files and migrating them to the new server box. I then looked in the
registry and changed the IP addresses and such. Now, one of my domains
(domain1.com) uses the NT database for users while the others (domains.com)
use IMail's database. I can access the email of the domains.com using the
web interface but I cannot login to the domain1.com which uses the NT
database. Yes, both servers are domain members, although, the original
server was the PDC while the new server is just a member. What am I missing
here? I'm sure its something simple, and I've dome IMail migrations before
so I'm familiar with the process.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
