I apologize for the length of this message, but the problem I am
encountering is not easy to quickly summarize.

We have recently installed an Imail 6.05 Server in order to replace
an existing mail service. As part of the initial setup, we created 5
bogus "Test" users to use for the purpose of training our users in
the new mail client.
Early in the process of bringing in the Imail Server, we had set one
of these test users to forward its mail to another, legitimate user. The
forwarding was done to allow copies to be forwarded, while the test
user would also keep a copy. after we were satisfied with the
functioning of the forwarding option, it was removed. However, now
more often than not, this test user forwards its mail to two other
users, one a legitimate user and one of the other test users, without
retaining a copy for itself. I have checked this test users setup, and
there is nothing set in the forwarding option, nor is there a
forward.ima file. I have also deleted, and then recreated this user
five times. I have tried restarting both the Imail Administrator, and
the server itself, between the deleting and recreation. But the
forwarding continues. There are no aliases of any kind setup on the
server, except for the default ones. I have also checked the server
log files for the times that the e-mails were misdirected, and there
are no records of any mail being sent to the alternate addresses.
While these test users will not be in use much longer, other more
serious problems associated with the test user in question have
occurred.

I have tried contacting Ipswitch tech support, and searched it's
knowledge base, to no avail. (Ipswitch recommended selecting
refresh from the servers Tools menu- I had tried that be fore
contacting them). Does anyone have any suggestions as to what
can be done about this?

Patrick
