I could not connect to SMTP or POP3 port using the hostname,
email.eterrus.com. It does respond to a ping. Either IMail is not running or
something is blocking the connection. I was able to connect to port 106
(password service) and see IMail V5.04 running. This makes me think some
port blocking is the cause. Did the ISP make some other network changes,
that might block these ports, in conjunction with the IP address change?
The error when sending would also indicate that IMail is having troubles
connecting to outside hosts to send email.
On the IMail machine, open Telnet and try to connect to other email servers
(port 25). If you cannot, then IMail won't be able to, either. Try on
another computer in your network and if that also does not work, check
router, firewall or with ISP to find out why!
