Hi Patti. Another SLMail switch. Did one about a year ago myself. Have
had no issues with IMail at all.

Unfortunately, the switch is a problem. I did the same thing. Imported
the users fine in about 30 seconds with the add user utility, but the
mailboxes were an issue. Here is how I did the switch.

Stopped SLMail. Started IMail running as the main email server. Copied
each mailbox from SLMail to the new IMail users directory for that
person. Then did a Find FIles or Folders for *.mbx. Then I just renamed
the files to main.mbx. If a new message had come in and automatically
created the main.mbx already in that users directory, then I just cut, and
pasted the messages from the old mailbox into the new one. I did this at
2am. This way less aggravation for your customers. You don't get any
calls asking about settings for the old mail server and then the new one etc.

The only issue I had was some users passwords needed to be retyped. The
import work but about 100 of my 2500 users at that time had login issue
with the mail server. I retyped the password in IMail and all was fine.

Cheers
                         Mark
