Subject: [IMail Forum] Just taking overa IMail server

I have a question that I hope someone can help me with. A friend of mine just acquired a ISP which is using IMail 6.06 (I applied the patch last week for it), and I am tryring to help out with the mail service. It seems that he is getting calls from a FEW people complaining that they are not getting inbound email. I have checked the DNS and everything looks fine. I have checked for another SMTP service that might be abducting the mail, and there seems to be none. Myself and the server tech have been sending emails to each other, we also have signed up on a few mailing lists to see if we get mail (and we have had no problem). I am pretty well stumped as to where else to look. Any help in pointing me in the correct direction would be appreciated.

There seems to be no problem sending email out (No one complaining about that), just people saying that they are not getting mail in. There was even one person who said she was getting mail from a person in Florida that she corresponds with, but not from another person in Michigan. This all seems strange to me, I would think it would be an "All-or-nothing" proposition (all the mail, or no mail).

TIA for any help you can give.

Mail server is mail.hto.net  -  205.146.103.19

Let me know if any more info is needed. I have also RTFM and can't really find anything out of the ordinary in the seteup that might cause this :-) .
