I have successfully moved several hundred mail boxes from both Linux and
Solaris to Imail with no problems. The trick is if you are not running
Sendmail on the *nix side. Your in for a rough ride. The mail boxes are
probably not compatible like Len said. If you are running sendmail the mail
boxes are compatible with Imail.
Grep and cat out the users on the *nix server you want to move. Download
Johntheripper and crack the passwords of the users who you want to move.
Run the command line interface to Imail and add all the users in one wack.
Then FTP the users mail boxes over to the Imail server. Write a script to
move the *nix mail boxes into the users directory and rename the box to
main.mbx.
That's it, pretty much.
Of course there are a few things you need to work out. But that's how I
have done it and been very successful.

I did not find anything in the knowledgebase, which is why I posted here.
What is the URL for the archive? I couldn't find it on the site.

It's account names and passwords, isn't it, plus the mailbox dir's.
Imail's adduser.exe can automate the account creation, assuming you
can obtain the passwords.
If you can't get people to empty their Unix mailboxes, then you've
got that pb. The mailbox format for whatever you're on Unix and
Imail's are probably different so you've got a reformatting pb to solve.
The Imail client pgm runs on the Imail server and has been used to
move mailboxes from one server to another.
Snoop around the knowledge base and this list's archives for ideas.
