Help!
We got hacked last night and as a result decided to close all unnecessary
ports. Now we cannot seem to send outgoing mail from our Imail server. The
ports we left open, per entry in IPSWITCH knowledge base, are:
SMTP 25
Password 106
POP3 110
IMAP4 143
LDAP 389
Web Admin 8181
Web Messaging 8383
We can successfully receive pop mail but when we send out the email gets
knocked back as: Delivery failed 5 attempts.
As soon as we opened the ports backup up everything in imail is fine.
Does anyone know which port we may be missing?
