Drew,

You will get faster results, if you give us real host and domain names and
IP addresses! xyxy.com exists, but not defined as anything like you suggest.
That domain has a CNAME in its MX record (which should not be used and is
probably not accomplishing the desired results!)

Why do you have a MX record on www? Is that the 'real' name of the host
running IMail? Why not use that name instead of mail, in the client? That
should work! Are www and mail defined as the same IP? If not, then that is 2
different host computers (OK, could be the same computer, but why???)?
