ScanSpool has been updated to perform a more comprehensive scan of the
spool.  One misunderstanding that I have encountered is that ScanSpool does
not scan the log files, it scans the actual messages in the spool.  It was
created to get a current snap-shot of the spool rather than a history of
spool activity. If any of you have ever had a massive spool, you'll
understand the reasoning behind this.

As a companion to ScanSpool, I created another prog called KillMsgs.
This program will search the spool for email addresses or substrings
contained in the specified header fields and either delete the messages or
simply list the files that the strings where found in.

An example usage of both programs is if you run ScanSpool and determine
that you have 10,000 messages from [EMAIL PROTECTED] clogging up your
spool.  You can then run KillMsgs and remove just the messages from
[EMAIL PROTECTED] from the spool without affecting any other messages.
