Julien,
When did it 'stop working'? I assume you have been using the same methods
for some time and it was working. So when it stopped, is a clue. Did someone
change the Cold Fusion routines recently? Did you really check the database
info and look carefully at each field in the DB to see if anything is
different for the new users (as compared to the old users)? Even something
as simple as an extra 'space' (at the end of the username, password, or
directory) in a field, could cause this problem.
As Len said, others have indicated problems when using Access for more than
about 2000 records. Although I don't know of any hard and fast numbers, you
are certainly in the range where problems have been observed.
