Yes, that is correct.

That's actually the registry key that Declude uses to hook into IMail. The problem is
that you can't just enter the name of the virus scanner there. You have to write a
program that will call the virus scanner, as well as housekeeping and other tasks
(locking/unlocking the SMTP files, handling MIME segments (including recursive MIME
segments and embedded E-mails), uudecoding, base64 conversions and such). You also
have to be careful to make sure to handle security (such as some kid sending an
attachment named "C:\autoexec.bat"), as well as handling the E-mail (what do you do if
it has a virus?).
If you are a programmer, you can certainly go ahead and use that registry entry. But,
it may be a bit of work. <G>
