Hello all,
I have an issue that seems to have imail support stuck. With just over
13,000 users, iwebmsg stops as soon as someone tries to login. Imail
recommended going to sql for auth, which has been done. Iwebmsg will still
not run. The next step was to upgrade to mdac 2.6. That was done this
morning. Now, 5-8 users can auth through sql, and then, the imail server
starts timing out. I have recreated the dsn, and all goes well. I am now
back where I was some 2 weeks ago, with no web messaging, and no sql auth.
Is anyone else here using mdac 2.6, authorizing via sql 6.5, on a separate
server? Imail tech wants me to install pcanywhere on the machine so they
can see what is going on. Until the mdac upgrade, auth was fine, even
though web messaging was down. Is it an issue with odbcuser.dll?
Help?
Thank You,
Bill
