Hello,

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but I'm new to the group so be
nice to me :). I have a windows 2000 server, running IMAP. Sometimes, when
a user is checking their mail, the server spontaneously reboots. I found a
KB article about windows 2000 servers running POP3 rebooting spontaneously
with certain network cards
(http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/WG-19990316-CV02.htm), but that doesn't
exactly apply. First off, that says that it only applies to POP3, while i'm
running an IMAP server. It also states that this problem only effects
computers with Netgear and Linksys ethernet cards. I have a "Network
Everywhere Fast Ethernet Adapter (NC100 v2)" ethernet card. This might be a
repackaged Netgear or Linksys... i don't really know.

Anyway, if someone has any advice for me to make it stop rebooting, other
than going out and buying a 3com network card, please let me know.
Personally I think its very arrogant of Ipswitch to suggest that I go out
and buy a new network card to make their software work. My network card has
worked for every other application I've ever tried to use.

Regards,
Josh Pearson
