That's correct. And, the spammers may not realize what you have done, and
then they (and others, if they sell their list) could end up sending a lot
more spam down the line.
There's not much else that can be done, since IMail can't generate bounce
messages after the E-mail is received (in which case the spammer would have
to wade through tons of bounce messages, and would have to send actual
E-mail in order to determine if the address was valid).
One option would be to have IMGate ( http://imgate.meiway.com ) sitting in
front of the IMail server, handling this a bit more gracefully.
