You have the same mail domain on both Exchange and Imail?

Imail won�t go to DNS if the @recipientdomain is seen as local to Imail.
But I can fix this with IMGate�s address manipulations. The outside world
sends all mail to @domain.com whose MX is IMGate.
IMGate accepts the mail and looks up in a table that you provide whether
the [EMAIL PROTECTED] is on the @domain.com ip (exhange) or
@mail.domain.com ip (Imail) and relays the mail to the correct server.
This gives you two "internal" mail hostnames, one for each mail
server. They can send mail between themselves.
... and the external world will see all mail coming from @domain.com, since
IMGate would rewrite
MAIL FROM: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
as
MAIL FROM: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
before sending out to Internet.
Just one of those neverendingly wonderfula nd weird things you can do with
IMGate and multiple boxes that are impossible to do with single boxes.
