On the support website entitled "IMail - What is changed in version 6.06,"

there was a description that:
   "IMailSrv - Japanese characters are now useable in the subject modification string 
for lists."

Then, how can I use Japanese characters in the subject line?
I have tried to do so, but only resulted in displaying such characters incorrectly.

I would like even a bit of information concerned.
