Hello,
I am look for a log analyzer (program, procedure, or guidance) that
check the logs for error, hacks and Spam attempts. I have been
trying to write my own, but I don't have the time to analyze the logs
to get all the information I would need. Right now I am doing it by
hand and it talks time. Mostly I am looking for multiple attempts to
use my servers as a relay and report that information to the domain
owner were the attach comes from (relaying is turned off). Null
Sender attempts (also turned off). Mass mailings to a@, b@, art@,
ben@, etc... attempts. Also users having problems getting mail
because of mistype passwords or dropped connects. Probe attempts
like connections and drops.
I do not want to start a discussion about Anti-Spam or Anti-Hacking
tools, just log analyzers.
Any help would be helpful.
