Question/Problem: I have users who use AOL and the Web Messaging Interface.
They cannot connect to my IMail server to see their messages. Can you tell
me why this happens and how to fix it?
Answer/Solution: Due to the methods AOL uses (IP addresses and other
security issues) and how IMail checks the request for data from the remote
user for the Web Messaging, they are being denied access. However we do
have a method for resolving this.
In IMail Administrator | localhost | Web Messaging Server enable this option:
"Ignore source address in security check".
In version 7.0 find services under IMail Administrator | localhost |
Services. (In IMail 4 or 5 run Web Messaging Manager.)
Stop and restart the Web Messaging service.
