A big modification to the Postfixgate database was just achieved today
allowing servers that are listed in any Spam database, including our own
Postfixgate,
to be excluded from having their e-mail blocked. This should eliminate, as
we add the servers we discover, the problem with e-mail being blocked that
is required despite any issues they may have with their e-mail server being
listed in Spam databases.

What does this mean to you? If you use MAPS, ORBL, ORDB, or Postfixgate, or
even all of these, you can now add IP addresses, e-mail addresses, and
domain names to an exclusion list that you don't want blocked despite the
fact that there may be a listing in any of the Spam databases, or your local
spamlist.map. Once listed in your exclusion list the IP address, e-mail
address, or domain name will not be blocked no matter what database it is
in. Now Postfixgate can be customized to your meet needs no matter where
you are in the Internet world.

Files and instructions for these changes will be uploaded to Postfixgate
later this weekend, and will be available in the members area.

IMail users will have to wait until Declude adds this feature to their Junk
Mail software.
