There's no need to spend even $50 for email component.
The cheapest/easiest is to use the CDONTS, but it has to be properly
configured in order to have the emails not be cached and such lag the
server.
An alternative is a component like ASPMail, but it's free. If you search
around I'm sure you will find it. I will look for it again and then post
it when I find the website url, if someone would like it.

you can just buy
ASPMail for $50 and write a script in a couple of
minutes.
