Does anyone know how I can set up some sort of alert so that if messages in
the queue increase to a certain number, I can be notified.  We were HEAVILY
spam attached by one of our clients who had their email server acting as an
open relay server..

Then only way to clean up the queue and get email working properly again was
by manually removing 8000 entries in the queue which took 12 hours to do....


Perhaps if we had caught this before the queue got so large we would have
dis-allowed that IP address before this server had a chance to cause so much
spam

we only allow our IP address range to send email through our server
