Marc,
The address you should send to is [EMAIL PROTECTED] (change list_name
to the name you used to create the list). The [EMAIL PROTECTED] is the
administrative address to handle subscribe/unsubscribe messages. From the
other details you provided it looks pretty much right. Give it a shot and
see if this doesn't help.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Looking for assistance
I'm new to the list server arena and looking for some quick guidance from
anyone that has a few minutes to offer it.
Basically I want to send out an email to our membership (about 4000
members). I spent couple hours on Friday trying to get it set up according
to manual but when I tested it, didn't seem to work correctly. It wouldn't
sent email to the other few test emails I had in List Server Address List.
I only want the Moderator to post. I disabled List Command as well as
Subscription. When I send the email I address it in the "To" field to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and put the text in the body of the email and click
send. My thinking is, it should go to the few test emails I have set up but
it doesn't and that's where I'm stumped.
I guess my main questions would be, am I headed in the right direction and
is this going to be possible to approach it this way. Since members already
indicated they want the emails, there's no need to subscribe and
unsubscribe. Not sure if I'm sending the email wrong or set up incorrectly.
Any assistance from anyone would be appreciated. I might just need to call
tech support and have them guide me through the final steps because I know
I'm close.
