You can make a rule that says that mail that is to that user's mail address should go to
 
.,[EMAIL PROTECTED]
 
The ".," makes it go to him and then the root@whatever should be you. I believe this should work but test it obviously to see if the headers show that root is looking at the users mail. I don't think they will. I think it'll be invisible that it's copying messages.

I need to copy mail sent by a user to a monitored mailbox.  I suspect it can be done with a rule, but my attempts have only managed to capture all outbound messages.  Needless to say, that is too much mail to retain.
