Has anyone experienced the same, or allready has a solution for the
following problem?
The users cannot attach files using Imail Webmail Interface!
Our server is an Imail 7.03 with web messaging.
When a user is composing an email through webmail and is going to attach a
file, he browses for the file, then he pushes the attach button.
At that moment, "WHILE" the file is being uploaded, if you cancel the
process by pressing the ESC key or simply closing the browser, from that
moment on the user will no longer be able to attach files any more until the
web messaging service is restarted.
And this is because of a tmp file in the users directory, "UT~****.tmp",
which gets locked by the imail system and you cant delete the file unless
you restart the web service
