No, I do not know this. The 8,000 messages were OUTGOING messages,
not INCOMING. Why do you assume everything in the \spool folder is
incoming mail?

We have a client list of subscribers of over 12,000. This is a
daily mailing list, so 8,000 messages in the spool would seem to
indicate that alot of outbound mail was stuck in the queue.
