Well another big part of it is me not understanding the config files
entirely. I have had my dns off site with an ISP, and I have just started on
a test machine trying to figure out the config. I decided it was time to
jump in and get the wondrous world of dns figured out. I haven't used any
dns system long enough to really have a preference. It just seems from a
first glance that editing and maintaining numerous zones through a text file
would be time consuming. I'll be buying a book next week to get a clue. Hey
Len is the book on your site (http://BIND8NT.MEIway.com) still current?
I guess it is best to get in there and learn bind from the get go. And using
the MS one (if I had to) was pretty easy to figure out.
