Sorry for the long mail but I need a help badly.
I am having problem with setting peer servers.
I have a server with about 20 virtual hosts having separate ip addresses for
each virtual host and 2nd server with 2 virtual hosts again having separate
ip addresses for each.
I am only peering one domain and rest have no peers.
Server A has mail1domain.com and Server B has mail2.domain.com.
Both servers' virtual host have domain.com as an alias.
Peer List are entered for each others ip address. (I deleted all peerList
from registry and created from Admin)
DNS A and MX records are entered as in IPSWITCH's instruction.
PTRs are also entered in DNS.
Servers hosts file have all mail server's entry.
I have checked the setting again and again, compared side by side and all
the settings seems matched.
Now, my problem is that when I receive a mail destined for local user on
Server A by Server B, mail is correctly delivered but if th mail is destined
for local user on Server B but received by Server A, mail is lost.
When I checked the SMTP log with the server not getting a mail even with
user is on local, I see '250 ok accepted for peer' instead of '250 ok its
for <hid.....'
Also, strange thing is that RCPT TO: line has hideki@ip address instead of
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
I have no clue what so ever.
I would really appreciate if anyone can help me out.
