For outgoing E-mail from the browser interface, you can use a standard
on-access virus scanner on the IMail server, that monitors the spool
directory. When attachments are uploaded, they are stored there
temporarily in raw (unencoded) form, allowing a standard virus scanner to
scan it.

Another alternative would be to tell IMail to use WebShield as a gateway,
but that wouldn't scan local-to-local E-mail through web messaging.

The SendName option won't do anything unless you write or buy a program
that will use it. Also, IMail often bypasses the SendName registry entry
when sending mail through web messaging.
