Can this behavior be prohited for security reasons??

if you send a dash in a username, Imail will interpret that as a
mailbox/folder. Remember, you can send a message to:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
where the message will go directly to that user's folder bypassing the
inbox. I use it all the time for various junk mail and the like.

Dashes were not always allowed. I believe version 6.05 was the first to
allow them.
