I'm trying to set up an external database to a MySQL system, using ODBC. The ODBC drivers are installed correctly, and the imail system even created the table fo me, so I know the permissions are ok. However, both SMTP and POP deny that the user account exists. Has anyone done this before?
I'm suspecting there are some binary issues here; the userdir field loks messy: mysql> select UserDir from 1_correct_connect_com; +---------------------------------------+ | UserDir | +---------------------------------------+ oot |Mail1_correct-connect_comusers | d:IMail1_correct-connect_comUsersdgm | +---------------------------------------+ 2 rows in set (0.00 sec) This is a 6.06 Imail system, on Win2k.
