The message below came out on the 2nd from opensrs. I don't know if com net or org were having problems.
1. Real-time .info registration update ----------------- We have been advised by the .info registry operator that the emergency maintenance window will continue longer than originally anticipated. This means that no-one will be able to register or manage .info names until further notice. We have been informed that an announcement regarding resumption of normal registry operations will be made at around 09:00 EST (13:00 UTC) October 3rd. The only change that the registries could potentially cause a problem with is if you change the DNS servers that are authoritative for your domain. If they don't get the updated information to the root servers, then the world will not know about your DNS server change. But, even if you change DNS servers, your old DNS servers should handle the requests until the update is made, so it shouldn't be a problem.
