hi, yesterday i helped two ppl sort out their problems with mail receipt. today i am in the same soup.
the problem is as follows: i have multiple domains on mail server but only one IP. so domains are virtual. i do not run my own DNS server but utilise the services of zoneedit for the same. its a wonderful service. from there i forward all requests to my IP. till date everything was working fine. 2day all of a sudden i stopped receiving mails on all domains on the server. fortunately i had set a backup mail server for my main domain (tradebooster.com). however, now all mails sent using the SMTP of the Imail Server arrive correctly at mailboxes. however all mails from other domains r being redirected to the backupmail server. however the most surprising thing is that mails on other domains r neither being recd nor r bouncing back. they r getting lost somewhere. cud somebody pls. help out why this problem and whats gone wrong. thanks Samrat Yadav _______________________________________________________________________ The most affordabe hosting solutions for Small and Medium Enterprises.
