dear sir, thanks very much for your help. however i hv re-installed win2k server twice and hv applied win2k SP2 and all patches for nimda fix. imail server is installed and MS SMTP (part of IIS) was not installed to avoid any problems. the problem now is how do i check and fix my port 25. i hv winproxy installed on the same PC and have opened port 25 in it for incoming TCP packets. cud u pls. help me how to check and configure to see port 25. i checked the services in imail. it shows SMTP as running.
