I keep getting an error message when I send from our mail server to this one
domain. (Snip of log below). And yes the mail is hosted elsewhere - I have
checked the hosts file and the smtp setting and the otherdomain does not
show up anywhere as local. I have checked the dns and it appears correct.
When I go to tracert.com and trace the other domain's MX record shows up
properly. It appears like our mail server thinks this domain or user is
local. I feel I am missing something obvious. This worked yesterday with
no problem. Any thoughts?
