Declude spam more than meets my expectations although we handle a small amount of mail, on average about 1200 incoming messages per day.
Yesterday, (Saturday for us) we processed 493 incoming messages. Our Declude spam trapped 183 of these. Of these 183 we deleted 174 and moved 9 back to the queue for delivery. Larger volume days are proportional and there are some days when we delete all trapped messages. So we think our settings are reasonable even though some spam still goes through. We are small enough to just inspect the spam directory via a cgi perl program and then select those to delete or move. It takes a few minutes but we think it allows us to be a little more aggressive in spam trapping. Obviously someone handling large volumes could not do this. Our HOLD tests are: OSDUL, OSSRC, ORDB, ORBL, SPAMCOP, ROUTING, PERCENT Terry -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Richard Farris Sent: Friday, December 21, 2001 12:23 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [IMail Forum] Declude Anti Spam Has anyone on this list successfully set up declude anti spam to meet their expectations.
