All other things aside for the moment "relay for local users only" is NOT a setting which
turns off relay for spammers. All they have to do is impersonate a user on one of your
domains and they can send whatever they want. You should be using "relay for addresses"
OK. We arrrived at this as it at least allowed us to block mail from non-users and I think it was with input from someone else. In any event, this person was apparently not impersonating a local user.
Which database are you using for your IMail domains?
Imail.
Can you find out the exact version?
It appears to be 6.05. Seems to me we didn't go to 6.06 because of many messages we saw early on of problems encountered with that update.
