We did both at once.
First mirrorred all data to the new server with Legato Octopus, copied the
\IPSwitch\Imail\Domains part of the registry, then shut down the old server
during off hours, quickly brought up the new server, installed new version
of Imail and all patches and then applied the exported portion of the
registry.

I have finally decided to upgrade from 6.06 to 7.05 HF2. At the same
time I want to move Imail to a new server (then add declude and Killer
Templates).
Should I upgrade then move, move then upgrade, or install then move just
the users?
