Have you seen an increase in your traffic lately? What kind of NIC card are you using? We have seen things go away like this when not using a beefy enough NIC. Also make sure you are using the NIC manufacturer's drivers and not the native MS ones.

I also did not see one item that gave a solution. It may be a FAQ but it is also a SAQ( seldom answered question). Google gives me 28800 hits on dial up errors. The archives are full of people like me that want an answer but I saw no smoking guns. And the knowledge base once again tells me it is a Winsock error. > > Why is a server that connected to us just fine a week ago now cannot connect at all for 3 days? Especially since it is a server that sends out millions of messages a day and they see no problems on their end. Two weeks ago I had 3 of these errors in a day, now I have 100s of these errors and it is always with the same three or four IP addresses -and it is not dial up customers. It would also seem to me that if it is tcp/ip stack errors that it would be more random and would seem like it would effect POP also. Why would certain servers consistantly reset their connections with our server and not the other 1000s of servers that they communicate with. > > I am guessing that it is a setting somewhere, but I do not know where. > > The truth is out there!!! > > Chuck Schick > > > ---------- Original Message ---------------------------------- > From: Len Conrad <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Date: Mon, 04 Feb 2002 22:46:17 -0600 > > > > >>We started receiving these errors in our logs.
