In "theory" it shouldn't - but to be on the safe side I would unplug the new server from the network while installing/configuring imail. Just my .02 worth.

I'd like to get it totally set up and ready to go, patches and hotfixes installed etc, but am not quite ready to point dns to the new server yet, or copy the registry key. Is setting this up, but keeping all the imail processes disabled going to interfere with my current, working installation on the old machine in any way? I know, in theory, it shouldn't, but this *is* the real world :) Thanks, Sharyn Schmidt Network Specialist Florida Distillers Company (863) 956-1116 x139 We are the worldwide producer and marketer of the award winning Cruzan Single Barrel Rum, judged "Best in the World" at the annual San Francisco Wine and Spirits Championships, and the artisan tequilas of Porfidio 100% Agave Tequilas, judged "Best Tequila" four years running by the Wine Enthusiast magazine.
