Jeff,

Jump on Ebay and pick up an external USR Courier modem. They run around
$10-20. We have been using one for about 5 years now with the Email to FAX
option as well as the Email to Pager option. Your PCI modem is not fully a
hardware modem and is partially in software (WinModem junk). I do not know
about Dell, but Compaq Proliant RM servers have an external serial port for
the modem.
