I'm trying to track why we have had a surge in undeliverable mail in the last few days. The messages fail after 20 delivery attempts, to valid addresses, and go through fine if I resend them.
What, other than connection problems or DNS errors, might cause this to happen? Is there an easy way to track where the delivery failure is coming from? The problem I have is that whenever I test, everything is working fine, but randomly we get these delivery errors.
