As I've mentioned here several times, IMGate can now do
"IMail-pop-before-IMGate-relay". IMail syslogs pop3 lines to Imgate, and
IMgate dutifully logs them, including the buggy lines:

Feb 16 12:15:10 ns1 POP3D (%1!08X!) %2!s!logon success for %3!s! %4!s! from
%5!s!

Feb 16 12:15:25 ns1 POP3D (%1!08X!) %2!s!logon success for %3!s! %4!s! from
%5!s!

:))

Unfortunately, the dynamic maintained file of "trusted for relaying" ip's
cannot be updated, but this seems to be a fairly rare occurrence.

Apart from that, IMGate pop-before-smtp relay is working great.

No SMTP AUTH headaches anymore!!!
