You're absolutely right. There are several other steps one can take to
enable  "asynchronous  multi-processing,"  as  you  termed it. I think
everyone  should  take  advantage  of  as many of these as financially
possible. The slave userbase is just one of a dozen things you can do,
each  one  with  real positive effects, until you find nothing left to
complain about. <g>
