Sandy, Thanks for your help. My situation is a tad bit different in that my webboard server is installed on a separate server from the Imail email server. However, the information that you provided me, helped me tremendously in figuring out what I needed to do. I have successfully configured the two to work togethor.
The only drawback, please correct me if I am wrong, is that you have to setup a Standard Alias for EVERY email address that is setup in webboard. I little bit troublesome, especially if different persons manages the WebBoards and the Email server. Again, Thanks! Imail doesn't support routing domains by port per se, but this worked like a charm: - Set up WB's SMTP on a non-standard, unused port (I used 27) for receiving - Set up WB to use localhost on port 25 for sending (this is your Imail server on the same box) - Add a Standard Alias to the relevant Imail domain with the name of each WB message board and point it to the same username, but @localhost:27. In other words, if you've got a board in WebBoard that you want SMTP users to address as [EMAIL PROTECTED], set up 'myboard' as an alias under mydomain.com in Imail that points to 'myboard@localhost:27.' - Note that you don't have to use 'localhost'--you can use any hostname you want that points to 127.0.0.1 in your HOSTS file, or you can EVEN use any DNS hostname that points to your Imail box, though I personally would find both of these needlessly confusing...since no users will ever see it, I'd advise sticking with the constant 'localhost' for local rerouting. But it's up to you. There's also another totally different way that I thought of, but I don't think you'll need it.
