I am in the process of switching to a new server with 7.06HF2 from 6.06. Everything seems to be working fine on the new server with the exception of LDAP. On the old server when I type part of the first name, last name, or username LDAP returns the proper information. On the new server It works fine with the username but not with the first name. I can't really check last name since it is always part of the username. I tried the new v.7 LDAPER to add a record and got lots of entries with the wrong e-mail address. I tried initialize LDAP, optimize LDAP, and even copied the directory from the old server. I finally emptied the directory and initialized one last time and it never searched on the first name at all. I've tried both Netscape mail and Outlook with the same results. The only thing I'm changing on the client side is the server name. All other settings remain the same.
