okay I see. I have the impossible task of setting up a mailsystem for 500,000+ users.... With about some 10,000s simultaneous connections.
I believe IMail is able to do the trick, I only try to figure out the best configuration. Of course, an external DB is much less troublesome when you want to mod or del users. Would it be possible to split the IMail program from the userfiles: Use a couple of NLB servers for the server+webmail and a couple for SQL userDB and mailstorage? BTW: this is an open invitation to any of you to suggest the best possible configuration for this many users.
