The modem is an internal ActionTech PCI. The first time I tried to the modem, W2K didnt recognize the port. Had to physically take the card out, cleaned the contacts, re-installed it and then it installed clean. Didnt have any problem with the software install. Running W2K on a Dell PowerEdge 500SC, 1GHZ of RAM, 2 60GHZ hard drives. Seems to work (the mail-to-fax) pretty good.....I think the cover sheet is pretty clunky but other than that no other issues.
