Okay,  fine.  And you definitely are not letting DNS in/out in the ACL
snippet you posted. But you mention...

...which  has nothing to do with DNS. IMail doesn't consult DNS during
the  SMTP  session.  It  does,  however, check relay options. And this
550--issued  during  the  SMTP  session--indicates  that  you  are not
allowed to relay. So if your MUA is sending the same thing it used to,
and  you  think that IMail is set to the same relay options, something
is  interrupting or mangling the SMTP connection. The only way to test
is to Telnet through the router.
